The Emir of Qassim chairs a meeting to review preparations for the 2025 Saudi Toyota Baja Championship.

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, chaired a meeting today at the Emirate's meeting hall in Buraidah. The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdullah bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Arabian Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, and His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of Al-Qassim Region. The meeting reviewed the efforts being made to host the 2025 Saudi Toyota Baja Championship, scheduled to take place from October 29 to November 1, 2025. During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the stages of preparation and organizational and technical readiness for the championship, the championship route, accompanying events, and participating entities. He emphasized the importance of integrating efforts between the government and private sectors to ensure the event's success, befitting the Kingdom's status as a host of international sporting events. His Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal commended the support and great attention given by the wise leadership—may God support them—to the sports sector, noting that the Qassim region possesses the natural and organizational components that make it an ideal destination for hosting Baja races and other international competitions. He noted that this championship will enhance the region's sporting, economic, and tourism activities. He praised the efforts of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation in developing motorsports and motorcycles in the Kingdom and its support for young national cadres in this field. He directed that all necessary facilities be provided to ensure distinguished organization that reflects the Kingdom's honorable image. For his part, His Highness the President of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Emir of the Qassim Region and His Highness the Deputy Emir for their great support and continuous follow-up, noting that Qassim will host this exceptional sporting event, which combines competition, excitement, and diverse track conditions, enhancing the Kingdom's position on the global motorsports map.
