His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, accompanied by His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the region, today honored the winners of the Al-Shabami Award in its thirteenth edition at the King Khalid Cultural Center in the city of Buraidah. His Highness congratulated the winners, emphasizing his pride in this initiative, which he described as a comprehensive promotion of the initiative. He noted that it is not merely an award, but rather an encouragement for young people to pursue self-employment and overcome the social constraints that previously prevented them from practicing certain professions. His Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal stated, "The Self-Made Young Person Award honors those who excel in the field of self-employment. The environment of the people of Qassim naturally embraces self-reliance and a love for ethical achievements. This achievement aligns with the spirit of the region, as young men and women have competed and contributed to changing many perceptions and outcomes." His Highness added that excellence and achievement are not exclusive, and that the award has finally become more precise and objective in its criteria. He expressed his gratitude to the committees, the award organizers, and the Chairman and Secretary of the Qassim Chamber of Commerce for their efforts in developing it. For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Qassim Chamber, Ali Al-Muqbil, praised the award, which has become a leading model for inspiring weddings in the region. He noted that His Highness the Prince of the region chose it as the sole driving force behind the center's work ethic, pointing to its goals of supporting and empowering youth. Fahd Al-Shammari, one of the leading and most accomplished figures, delivered a speech, emphasizing his contribution to achieving victory in one of the most prominent national youth programs, given its motivational and inspiring nature, which has fostered a spirit of perseverance and self-reliance. The ceremony concluded with a special reception where His Highness the Prince of Qassim honored the winners of the award in its various categories: Ahmed Al-Insan in the technical category, Abdullah Al-Humyani in the agricultural and technical category, Abdullah Al-Saigh in the crafts category, Mohammed Al-Harbi in the community and humanitarian category, and Wajdan Al-Mashouh in the commercial category. His Highness honored the winners of the Self-Made Individuals Track, namely: Al-Bandari Al-Jarboa, Bandar Al-Jaloud, Nader Al-Hamr, Abdulrahman Al-Olayan, Abdul Latif Al-Wahibi, Abdul Latif Al-Rashoudi, Abdullah Al-Khamis, Abdullah Al-Sahbani, Fahd Al-Shammari, Majid Al-Fadl, Wadhah Al-Hussaini, Wedyan Al-Khudairi, and Dr. Hani Al-Juhani, in recognition of their contributions as winners of the inspiring business model that embodies the spirit of work and achievement in the region.
