The Governor of Qassim receives the Minister of Transport and Logistics

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, received His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, and several ministry officials at his office today, in the presence of His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Region. The meeting addressed several topics related to the transport and logistics system in the region, including ongoing development projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the road network, improving traffic safety, and strengthening connectivity between the region's cities and governorates. These projects contribute to supporting economic and tourism development and achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. His Royal Highness the Governor of Qassim Region commended the support and attention given to the transport sector by the wise leadership, may God protect them, emphasizing that road and transport projects are fundamental to improving the quality of life, serving citizens and residents, and enhancing the region's position as a vital logistics hub connecting several regions of the Kingdom. For his part, the Minister of Transport and Logistics expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Prince of Qassim Region for his support and continuous follow-up on transport projects in the region, noting the Ministry’s keenness to continue working with relevant authorities to develop infrastructure, raise road efficiency, and enhance safety, in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership and the objectives of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy.
