Governor of Al-Qassim Region: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Approval to Launch the National Charitable Campaign Is a Continuation of the Spirit of Giving and Maximizing Its Impact

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Prime Minister—may God protect them—on the gracious approval to launch the sixth edition of the National Charitable Campaign through the national charitable platform “Ehsan,” and for the generous donation of 70 million riyals to the campaign. His Highness explained that the annual continuation of the campaign reflects the Kingdom’s firm approach to institutionalizing charitable work, enhancing transparency and governance, and increasing the efficiency of donations to ensure they reach their rightful beneficiaries with high reliability and effectiveness. This contributes to empowering the non-profit sector and enhancing its developmental and social impact. The Governor of Al-Qassim Region also highlighted the continuous support provided by the Crown Prince—may God protect him—to the non-profit sector, reflecting his ambitious vision to enable charitable work, ensure its sustainability, and maximize its efficiency. This contributes to amplifying the impact of national initiatives, achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing the non-profit sector, increasing its contribution to the GDP, and establishing the Kingdom as a global model in institutional humanitarian work. His Highness pointed out that the “Ehsan” platform has become a pioneering national model in leveraging technology to serve charitable work and facilitate the participation of individuals and businessmen in supporting humanitarian initiatives, emphasizing that these blessed efforts reinforce the values of solidarity and compassion that characterize Saudi society. His Highness prayed to Almighty God to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his continuous support of charitable and benevolent efforts, and to perpetuate the Kingdom’s security, stability, and prosperity under its wise leadership.
