His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, affirmed that the Saudi flag, adorned with the word of monotheism (“There is no god but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”), represents a firm symbol of the unity and pride of this nation. It also embodies the values upon which the Kingdom was founded—values rooted in monotheism, justice, and the enduring message carried by this blessed country. His Royal Highness noted, on the occasion of Flag Day, that the Saudi flag—bearing the word of monotheism and the sword of justice—encapsulates a rich history and the proud journey of a nation established by King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud — may Allah have mercy upon him. His sons, the Kings — may Allah have mercy upon them — continued on his path, leading to this prosperous era under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister — may Allah preserve them. The Governor of Al-Qassim Region further indicated that Flag Day is a national occasion that strengthens among the people of the Kingdom the values of belonging and pride in the national identity.
