His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, and His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Region, attended the ceremony honoring the winners of the Qassim Arabian Horse Beauty Championship, held at Prince Faisal bin Mishaal Park in Al-Basr. The championship featured over 230 horses and drew a large crowd of horse owners and equestrian enthusiasts. His Highness the Governor of Qassim congratulated the winners of all the top prizes, stating: “I congratulate all the gold, silver, and bronze winners, and I commend the successful conclusion of this distinguished championship, which was exceptionally well-organized and attracted a remarkable audience, reflecting the prestige of this time-honored sport.” His Highness expressed his pride in the displays he witnessed, noting their contribution to developing the skills of both riders and horses. He said: “I am immensely proud of these wonderful and outstanding displays, which cultivate the skills of riders and equestrians, encourage young people to participate in this authentic Arabian sport, and strengthen their connection to their national heritage.” His Highness emphasized the distinction of the Qassim region in equestrian sports, citing its abundance of Arabian horse stables and highly skilled riders, which reinforces its position as a prominent destination for this time-honored sport. His Highness commended the efforts of those responsible for the championship, saying: “I thank and praise the organizers of this championship, especially the King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center, and all participating and supporting entities, for their outstanding efforts that contributed to the success of this event and its distinguished presentation.” His Highness also expressed his appreciation to the sponsors, adding: “My sincere thanks and appreciation to the supporting entities and generous sponsors for their support and contribution to the success of this distinguished championship in the Qassim region, which had a significant impact on achieving this excellence.” His Highness praised the efforts of Dr. Mohammed Al-Ammari, supervisor of the Equestrian Sports and Stables Secretariat at the Emirate of the region, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Khuraij, the championship coordinator, affirming that their outstanding work contributed to the success of the championship and its distinguished presentation. At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Highness crowned the winners. The gold medal went to the horse Karam Al Bahia, owned by Al Sayaqel Stud; the silver medal was awarded to the horse A.J. Taj, owned by Abdulrahman Al Jalban; and the bronze medal went to the horse Karim Al Khalid, owned by Al Ahliya Stud. This championship is part of a series of events that promote equestrian sports in the region, support horse owners, highlight the region's rich heritage, and solidify Al Qassim's position in this vital field.
