The Governor of Al-Qassim Region sponsors the ceremony honoring 100 outstanding students in the fifth edition of the “Buds of the Quran” program.

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, patronized the ceremony honoring outstanding students in the fifth edition of the Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz “Buds of the Quran” Quranic Studies Program, in the presence of His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Region. The program is overseen by the Qassim branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, in cooperation with the “My Community” Foundation. The ceremony was held at the King Khalid Cultural Center in Buraidah, and was attended by a number of officials and parents. His Highness the Governor of Qassim Region emphasized that the Kingdom, since its founding, has been based on the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and has made the Holy Quran a guiding principle and constitution for life. He explained that the great care given by the wise leadership (may God support them) to the Holy Quran and its memorizers is a source of pride and honor for all citizens. His Highness said: “We praise and thank God who has blessed us with a country whose wise leadership has made the Holy Quran its guiding principle and constitution, and has supported Quran memorization societies, giving them utmost care and attention, until the Kingdom has become a global model in serving, teaching, and disseminating the Book of God.” He added: “Our wise leadership, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and my brother, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them – is the best example in caring for the Holy Quran, through holding international and local competitions for its memorization, and encouraging Quranic programs and initiatives that contribute to raising generations connected to the Book of God, proud of its values ​​and principles.” His Highness pointed out that among the manifestations of the Kingdom's care for the Holy Quran is the work of the King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran in Madinah, which prints and distributes copies of the Holy Quran throughout the world, in addition to gifting them to pilgrims before their departure to their countries, under the generous guidance of the wise leadership – may God protect them – thus embodying the state's commitment to serving the Holy Quran, Islam, and Muslims. He emphasized that Quran memorization programs represent a true investment in human development and the cultivation of faith and national values ​​in young people. He commended the "Buds of the Quran" program for its outstanding educational and developmental impact, which has contributed to nurturing Quranic talents and producing shining examples of memorizers of the Holy Quran. The ceremony included a speech by the Director General of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance branch in the Qassim region, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Juwaibri, who expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Prince of the region for his continuous support and patronage of the program. He explained that this support has contributed to the program's success and the achievement of its educational and developmental goals, as well as strengthening the care for young people and their connection to the Holy Quran. He explained that the fifth edition of the program achieved outstanding results, with the participation of 22 Quran memorization societies and 633 Quranic study circles, supervised by 255 male and female supervisors, and involving 952 male and 189 female teachers. The number of students benefiting from the program reached 10,604, while the number of pages memorized exceeded 2,948,583, and the number of pages recited exceeded 2,513,774, reflecting the significant educational and developmental impact the program has had across the region's various governorates. Al-Juwaibri stated that the "Buds of the Quran" program has become a leading, high-quality program in the region, providing a stimulating Quranic environment that contributes to instilling Islamic values, developing students' personal and behavioral skills, and preparing a generation connected to the Book of God in word and deed. At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Highness the Prince of Qassim honored the outstanding students and those in charge of the program, appreciating the efforts of all partners and supporters who contributed to the success of the program and the achievement of its mission to serve the Holy Book of God and care for its memorizers.
