His Highness the Deputy Governor of Al-Qassim Region receives the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Al-Uqailat Association for Popular Heritage

His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of Al-Qassim Region, received at his office in the Governorate headquarters, Mr. Abdullah Al-Shuraida, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Uqailat Heritage Association, accompanied by members of the Association's Board, on the occasion of the issuance of the decree establishing the Association. His Royal Highness congratulated the Chairman and members of the Board on this occasion, wishing them success in achieving the Association's goals and its mission to preserve the heritage associated with the history of the Al-Uqailat and to highlight their cultural, economic, and social contributions. His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of caring for and documenting national heritage and introducing it to future generations, noting that the story of the Al-Uqailat represents a bright chapter in the history of the Kingdom and the Al-Qassim region in particular, and the cultural, commercial, and social legacy they left behind, which deserves to be preserved, documented, and showcased. His Royal Highness listened to an explanation of the Association's goals and future programs, which aim to document the history of the Al-Uqailat, preserve their cultural heritage, and implement initiatives and programs that contribute to highlighting this heritage and raising community awareness of it. For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Uqailat Association for Popular Heritage, Mr. Abdullah Al-Shuraida, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Deputy Governor of Al-Qassim Region for his support and interest, stressing the association’s keenness to implement programs and initiatives that contribute to preserving the popular heritage of Al-Uqailat and enhancing its presence among future generations.
