The Governor of Al-Qassim Region meets with students and education staff on the occasion of the start of the new academic year

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, accompanied by His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Region, met today at the General Directorate of Education in the region with a number of male and female students, teachers, and school principals on the occasion of the start of the new academic year. His Highness congratulated the students and all members of the education staff on the beginning of the academic year, wishing them success in achieving their desired goals. He said, "We congratulate you on the start of this academic year, and we look forward to it being a blessed year in which the desired goals are achieved, thanks to the keen interest and attention our wise leadership – may God protect them – gives to educational outcomes and the development of the sons and daughters of the nation." The Governor of Qassim Region emphasized that education is the foundation for building individuals and shaping the future of the nation, pointing to the importance of developing students' character, enhancing their self-confidence, and cultivating their abilities for creativity and innovation in learning and teaching, as well as benefiting from the rapid advancements in educational methods and tools. His Highness emphasized the importance of motivating male and female students and expanding their participation in conferences and scientific forums outside the Kingdom. This will enhance their experiences, enrich their knowledge, and give them the confidence to represent their country honorably. He said, "God willing, we see in every male and female student a future and a source of good for this country, and we are committed to ensuring they possess knowledge, a confident personality, and the ability to be creative and innovative." He commended the efforts of teachers, educators, and administrative staff in the region's schools for their contributions to creating a conducive learning environment, supporting students, and motivating them to excel. He stressed the crucial role of the school, the teacher, and the family in the integrated educational process, developing values ​​and skills, and preparing a conscious and qualified generation that contributes to the national development journey. For his part, the Director General of Education in the Qassim region, Mohammed bin Suleiman Al-Furaih, expressed his appreciation for His Highness the Prince of the region's interest and continuous follow-up on the educational process. He affirmed that His Highness's meeting with students, teachers, and school principals serves as an incentive for the educational field to continue its work, dedication, and achievement of the Ministry of Education's objectives. He pointed out that the region’s schools welcomed their students at the start of the academic year, amidst complete educational, administrative and technical readiness, stressing the continuation of efforts to enhance school attendance, raise the quality of educational practices and provide a stimulating educational environment that contributes to developing students’ abilities and achieving their aspirations.
