Governor of Al-Qassim Region Receives Al-Maher Quranic Association’s Annual Report and Launches "Nafis" Platform His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, received Dr. Abdullah Al-Juwairi, Director of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance branch in the region, and Abdulrahman Al-Olayan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Maher Quranic Association, at his office in the Emirate headquarters. During the meeting, the Governor received the Al-Maher Quranic Association’s annual report for 2025. He reviewed the key programs, initiatives, and achievements detailed in the report, particularly in the areas of Quran memorization, recitation instruction (*Iqra’*), the granting of certifications (*Ijazah*), and the preparation of male and female students for Quranic competitions. His Highness also launched "Nafis," an electronic platform for Quranic competitions. The platform aims to modernize the management and digitization of competition procedures—ranging from contestant registration and judging processes to the generation of results—thereby enhancing organizational efficiency, accuracy, and speed. The Governor was briefed on the Association’s efforts to train memorizers and certified reciters, develop Quranic skills, and advance specialized competitions and programs, as well as the results achieved in governance and institutional operations. His Highness commended the efforts of the Al-Maher Quranic Association in serving the Holy Quran and preparing those who memorize it. He emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to develop Quranic programs and competitions, expand their impact, and improve the quality of outcomes. Furthermore, the Governor highlighted the care and support provided by the wise leadership—may Allah support them—for the Holy Quran and for Quranic institutions and associations. This support contributes to raising a generation that has mastered the Holy Quran and is qualified to participate and excel in local and international competitions. For his part, Abdulrahman Al-Olayan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Maher Quranic Association, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Emir of Al-Qassim Region for his support of and interest in the Association’s programs, affirming a continued commitment to developing Quranic initiatives and programs in a manner that fulfills the Association's mission and objectives.
