Governor of Al-Qassim Region Honors Student Omar Al-Subaih for Winning First Place in the King Abdulaziz International Quran Memorization Competition His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, honored student Omar Al-Subaih for winning first place in the second category—memorization of the entire Holy Quran with proper recitation and *Tajweed*—at the King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran. The honoring took place during a meeting at the Emirate’s headquarters between His Highness and Dr. Abdullah Al-Juwairi, Director General of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance branch in the region. The Governor congratulated Al-Subaih on this achievement, praising the excellence he demonstrated in a prestigious international competition dedicated to serving the Book of Allah and encouraging those who memorize it. He emphasized that this victory is a source of pride for the region’s residents and reflects the outstanding capabilities possessed by the nation's youth in memorizing and mastering the Holy Quran. His Highness highlighted the great care the wise leadership—may Allah support them—devotes to the Holy Quran, as well as the support and encouragement provided to those who memorize it. He affirmed that nurturing high achievers in this field is a continuation of the deeply rooted approach of this blessed country. The Governor also praised the efforts made to prepare and qualify students for participation in Quranic competitions, acknowledging the role of relevant authorities and specialized associations in developing the skills of those who memorize the Quran and enhancing their performance standards.
