His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, inaugurated today the new “Executive” Lounge at Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Al-Qassim. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Eng. Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Khuraisi, Chairman of the Board of “Executive,” and a number of civil and military leaders in the region. His Highness reviewed the lounge’s modern facilities, which combine authenticity and contemporary design, built in accordance with the highest global standards and specifications. The lounge is equipped with the latest systems and amenities to meet guests’ needs, including modern check-in platforms for seamless travel procedures. It also includes special facilities for people with disabilities and a range of other amenities. During the visit, Prince Faisal bin Mishaal stated: “We thank God for the inauguration of these important developmental projects at Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz International Airport, which is witnessing ongoing growth and increased air traffic to serve Al-Qassim and neighboring regions, under the guidance of our wise leadership, may God support them.” He added: “I commend and appreciate the efforts of my esteemed colleague Abdulaziz Al-Duailej and his team at the General Authority of Civil Aviation for their continued work in completing the development of Prince Nayef International Airport, which is considered one of the busiest regional airports, thanks to its central location and its service to surrounding cities and governorates.” Jalban bin Mohammed Al-Jalban, CEO of “Executive,” explained that the launch of the new lounge is part of a comprehensive project to develop “Executive” lounges, aligned with the company’s new brand identity, which oversees the management and operation of such lounges in Saudi airports. He noted that the new lounge spans 580 square meters and has an annual capacity exceeding 240,000 passengers—representing a 100% increase compared to previous lounges. At the conclusion of the visit, the Governor of Al-Qassim expressed his appreciation for the ongoing efforts to enhance services, and looked forward to seeing more developmental projects that enrich the experience of guests arriving in the Kingdom through Al-Qassim Airport.
