His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, received today, in the presence of His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Region, the Undersecretary of the Governorate, Khalid Al-Bahli, and the Governorate's Volunteer Unit team, on the occasion of the Governorate receiving the Excellence Shield for achieving the Ministry of Interior's volunteer work indicators. His Highness the Governor of Qassim Region praised the outstanding results achieved, which reflect the high level of professionalism and organization in volunteer work. He emphasized that this achievement is a result of the continuous support from the wise leadership – may God protect them – and the integrated efforts of various entities, given the important role of volunteer work in serving the community and strengthening national values. His Highness called for the continued development of volunteer work initiatives, raising performance efficiency, and ensuring the sustainability of societal impact, in order to contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and enhance the participation of volunteers in various developmental fields. At the conclusion of the reception, Prince Faisal bin Mishaal honored the winners from the volunteer teams affiliated with the Volunteer Unit of the Emirate of the region. The “Best Volunteer Leader” award went to the “Dhafaaf Al-Ataa” and “Kanf Ahbab” teams, while the “Ghaith Al-Tatwa’i” and “Aba Al-Wurud” teams won the “Best Volunteer Initiative” award for the “Watering” initiative. His Highness also honored the best volunteer teams, namely the Hamaleel team, the Sanabel Al-Khair team, and the Himam team, in appreciation of their efforts and distinguished initiatives in serving the community.

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, accompanied by His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the region, today honored the winners of the Al-Shabami Award in its thirteenth edition at the King Khalid Cultural Center in the city of Buraidah. His Highness congratulated the winners, emphasizing his pride in this initiative, which he described as a comprehensive promotion of the initiative. He noted that it is not merely an award, but rather an encouragement for young people to pursue self-employment and overcome the social constraints that previously prevented them from practicing certain professions. His Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal stated, "The Self-Made Young Person Award honors those who excel in the field of self-employment. The environment of the people of Qassim naturally embraces self-reliance and a love for ethical achievements. His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, today oversaw the signing of a community partnership agreement between the Abuwa Association for Orphan Care in Unaizah Governorate and Abwab Educational Company. The agreement, signed at his office in Buraidah, aims to provide educational services to orphans. The signing ceremony was attended by the Governor of Unaizah, Saad Al-Saleem, and the Director General of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development branch in the region, Abdullah Al-Subaie. The agreement was signed by Khalid Al-Humaidi, Executive Director of the Association, and Engineer Muataz Saleh, representing the company. It aims to provide specialized programs for the Association's beneficiaries, implement a competition to empower and develop orphans for the benefit of the Association, and exchange expertise and proposals in the educational and training fields to contribute to developing programs for orphans and raising the level of services provided to them. The website was designed to comply with the requirements of the Unified Platforms Code set by the Digital Government Authority. The inauguration was attended by His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Region, Khalid Al-Bahli, Undersecretary of the Governorate, and Saleh Al-Rassi, Director General of Information Technology and Digital Transformation at the Governorate. His Royal Highness praised the website's significant updates, which serve visitors and beneficiaries and contribute to saving time and effort in electronic transactions. He commended the efforts of the General Directorate of Information Technology and Digital Transformation in developing the Governorate's technological platforms, thereby enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens and residents. This inauguration reflects His Royal Highness's commitment to developing digital services and facilitating access for beneficiaries across all segments of society through technology. This initiative aims to improve performance efficiency and enhance the user experience, in line with the objectives of the government's digital transformation. The website, in its new version, also includes a number of interactive electronic services that allow beneficiaries to complete their transactions electronically with ease and convenience, in addition to a system of media services and interactive content that introduces the emirate’s achievements, programs and initiatives. The average number of visitors reached more than 250,000 visitors, while the electronic services recorded more than 45,000 beneficiaries.

His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, and His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Region, performed the Istisqa' prayer (prayer for rain) today with a large congregation at the Prince Abdul-Ilah Mosque in the Al-Safra neighborhood of Buraidah. The prayer was led by Sheikh Jaber Al-Nasser, who emphasized in his sermon that rain is a mercy from God to His servants. He reminded the congregation of the importance of giving charity and performing acts of worship to God Almighty, and of seeking relief from the hardships faced by Muslims. He called for frequent supplication, repentance, and renewal of faith, and then began his supplication to God, asking for His mercy and for beneficial, harmless rain to water the land and its people, both settled and nomadic. A number of sheikhs and officials from the region also performed the prayer with His Highness. The Istisqa' prayer was also performed in various governorates and centers throughout the region.
