The Governor of Qassim inaugurates the region's emirate website after developing and updating its electronic services.
His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, inaugurated the updated and upgraded website of the Governorate today at his office. The website was designed to comply with the requirements of the Unified Platforms Code set by the Digital Government Authority. The inauguration was attended by His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Region, Khalid Al-Bahli, Undersecretary of the Governorate, and Saleh Al-Rassi, Director General of Information Technology and Digital Transformation at the Governorate. His Royal Highness praised the website's significant updates, which serve visitors and beneficiaries and contribute to saving time and effort in electronic transactions. He commended the efforts of the General Directorate of Information Technology and Digital Transformation in developing the Governorate's technological platforms, thereby enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens and residents. This inauguration reflects His Royal Highness's commitment to developing digital services and facilitating access for beneficiaries across all segments of society through technology. This initiative aims to improve performance efficiency and enhance the user experience, in line with the objectives of the government's digital transformation. The website, in its new version, also includes a number of interactive electronic services that allow beneficiaries to complete their transactions electronically with ease and convenience, in addition to a system of media services and interactive content that introduces the emirate’s achievements, programs and initiatives. The average number of visitors reached more than 250,000 visitors, while the electronic services recorded more than 45,000 beneficiaries.

The Governor of Qassim leads a large congregation in the Istisqa' prayer at the Prince Abdul-Ilah bin Abdul-Aziz Mosque in Buraidah.
His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, and His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Region, performed the Istisqa' prayer (prayer for rain) today with a large congregation at the Prince Abdul-Ilah Mosque in the Al-Safra neighborhood of Buraidah. The prayer was led by Sheikh Jaber Al-Nasser, who emphasized in his sermon that rain is a mercy from God to His servants. He reminded the congregation of the importance of giving charity and performing acts of worship to God Almighty, and of seeking relief from the hardships faced by Muslims. He called for frequent supplication, repentance, and renewal of faith, and then began his supplication to God, asking for His mercy and for beneficial, harmless rain to water the land and its people, both settled and nomadic. A number of sheikhs and officials from the region also performed the prayer with His Highness. The Istisqa' prayer was also performed in various governorates and centers throughout the region.

The Governor of Qassim presents the new rank to the Director of Drug Enforcement in the region
His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, presented the new rank insignia to Major General Fawaz Al-Dhiyabi, Director of Narcotics Control in the region, at his office today, following the issuance of the Royal Decree promoting him to the rank of Major General. The ceremony was attended by Fahd Al-Abdulqader, Undersecretary for Security Affairs and General Supervisor of the Governor's Office. His Highness congratulated Major General Al-Dhiyabi, wishing him success in fulfilling his duties to serve his religion, his King, and his country. Major General Al-Dhiyabi expressed his gratitude to the wise leadership for this trust and to His Highness the Governor for his support and guidance, affirming his continued commitment to serving the nation and its leadership with honesty, integrity, and dedication.

The Governor of Qassim receives participants in the International Conference on Digital Business Engineering 2025
His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, received today, in the presence of His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Region, the participants in the 21st International Conference on Digital Business Engineering (ICEBE 2025), organized by Future University in Buraidah under the auspices of the global IEEE organization, with the participation of a select group of scientists, researchers, and experts from around the world. His Highness emphasized that this leading scientific event embodies the great attention given by the wise leadership – may God support them – to supporting the digital transformation and technological innovation, and to establishing the foundations of a knowledge-based economy, in line with the aspirations of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. His Highness the Governor of Qassim Region explained that artificial intelligence has become the cornerstone of developing digital businesses and services, and the essential tool for reshaping the modern market and building the future. He pointed out that the conference, held under the theme "Investing in the Artificial Intelligence Revolution to Shape the Digital Market," represents a global scientific platform that contributes to expanding the horizons of knowledge, enhancing integration between academia and industry, and supporting international efforts towards building a smarter and more sustainable digital economy. He explained that the Qassim region is proud of its significant achievements in digital transformation, where technology has become the primary tool for improving services and enhancing government performance. He noted that the region's emirate achieved second place among all regions in the 2025 digital transformation measurement results, reflecting concerted efforts and institutional work, and embodying the generous support the region receives from the wise leadership in its journey towards technological excellence and sustainable development. The Governor of Qassim honors 35 distinguished schools for achieving excellence in the National Program for School Evaluation, Accreditation and Classification for the year 2025.
His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, honored 35 distinguished schools in the region today at the Emirate's headquarters in Buraidah, in the presence of His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the region. The schools were recognized for achieving excellence in the 2025 National Program for School Evaluation, Accreditation, and Classification, according to the indicators of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission. His Highness congratulated the principals of the winning schools and extended his congratulations to all staff, students, and faculty members on these achievements, which reflect the attention, care, and support that the wise leadership—may God protect them—gives to the education sector and its pivotal role in human development and promoting sustainable development. The Governor of Qassim receives the Minister of Municipalities and Housing
His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, received His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Majid Al-Hogail, at his office today. At the beginning of the meeting, His Royal Highness welcomed His Excellency the Minister and his accompanying delegation, noting the support and attention given by the wise leadership – may God protect them – to the development of the municipal and housing sectors, and the major development projects underway in the region that contribute to improving the quality of life and enhancing urban development. The meeting reviewed a number of municipal and housing projects currently being implemented in the region, in addition to discussing plans to develop infrastructure and improve municipal and housing services in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The Emir of Qassim visits Al-Shamasiyah Governorate to follow up on development projects and meet with citizens.
His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, visited Al-Shamasiyah Governorate today, where he met with residents and officials and reviewed the progress of development projects and services provided to citizens. His Highness affirmed his constant commitment to visiting the region's governorates, meeting with citizens, and observing firsthand the progress of development and service projects. He noted that these visits are in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership—may God support them—to identify citizens' needs, address their requirements, and enhance the efficiency of development performance across various sectors. For his part, Al-Shamasiyah Governor Fahd Al-Radhi reviewed the development projects currently being implemented in the governorate, including municipal projects, solar energy initiatives, and environmental projects. The Emir of Qassim chairs a meeting to review preparations for the 2025 Saudi Toyota Baja Championship.
His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, chaired a meeting today at the Emirate's meeting hall in Buraidah. The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdullah bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Arabian Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, and His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of Al-Qassim Region. The meeting reviewed the efforts being made to host the 2025 Saudi Toyota Baja Championship, scheduled to take place from October 29 to November 1, 2025. During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the stages of preparation and organizational and technical readiness for the championship, the championship route, accompanying events, and participating entities. He emphasized the importance of integrating efforts between the government and private sectors to ensure the event's success, befitting the Kingdom's status as a host of international sporting events. His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, sponsored today the Al-Sukkariya Al-Hamra Festival in Al-Muznib Governorate. The event was held at the Prince Sultan Cultural Center in the governorate, in the presence of a number of officials, farmers, and residents. In his speech, His Highness noted the support and attention the agricultural sector receives from the wise leadership - may God protect them - and highlighted the Qassim region's distinguished diversity of date varieties and quality, as well as Al-Muznib Governorate's leading position in the production of high-quality Al-Sukkariya Al-Hamra dates, which are among the most important agricultural products and represent the Kingdom's prominent economic and nutritional value. His Highness the Governor of Al-Qassim Region emphasized that the Al-Sukkariya Al-Hamra Festival represents a qualitative addition to the region, not only in marketing agricultural products and enhancing their presence locally and internationally, but also in opening up job opportunities for the governorate's residents and enabling them to participate in the economic movement. He praised the efforts of farmers and their contributions to the success of the festival, as well as the fruitful integration between the various government agencies in the governorate in supporting such agricultural and developmental events. For his part, Al-Muznib Governor Abdulrahman Al-Sudais explained that the Red Sugar Date Festival contributes to the marketing and production of more than five thousand red sugar dates from farms, noting that this reflects the significant role farmers play in strengthening the governorate's position as one of the most prominent date-producing agricultural environments in the Kingdom. At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Highness the Emir of Al-Qassim honored the supporters and contributors to the festival's success. He then toured the accompanying exhibition, viewing the red sugar dates on display and the innovative processing industries it contains that contribute to increasing the added value of the product.
