His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, chaired a meeting of the Qassim Technical Association, attended by its members, to review the latest developments in its work and initiatives aimed at building a digitally literate society and empowering national talent in the technical fields, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The meeting reviewed the most prominent initiatives implemented by the Association in cooperation with the Qassim Technical Society, which include four main projects: AI-powered productivity programs to enable various segments of society to benefit from AI applications; expanding brand reach using AI to support businesses and entrepreneurs in their digital growth; the Tech Club for Children to prepare a generation equipped with technical skills; and the RETECH project, which aims to refurbish unused electronic devices and repurpose them for community service. His Royal Highness the Prince of Qassim emphasized the importance of activating technological programs and leveraging the opportunities presented by the Year of Artificial Intelligence to develop impactful initiatives, empower national talent, and enhance innovation and productivity. His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, and His Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Faisal bin Saad, Deputy Governor of the Region, oversaw the signing of several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at training, employing, and empowering 8,500 Saudi nationals, both men and women. His Highness commended the signing of the MoU between the Qassim branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the company "Atmal," which aims to provide 3,000 job opportunities. He also praised the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), targeting 5,500 individuals through the activation of an integrated system of support and training programs. The report stated that 196,000 individuals benefited from the association's services, with 1,115 volunteers participating in its programs.
